Southpaw Frog Swing

$821.00

The Frog Swing is the ideal piece of equipment for users who don’t need extra positional support but benefit from proprioceptive stimulation and vertical movement. The Frog Swing moves in a vertical motion, bouncing up and down, which in turn stimulates the user’s vestibular system. Great for those with Autism and special needs.

In stock (can be backordered)

The Frog Swing is a sensory hanging chair. It is designed with a traditional strap-style seat, a wooden crossbeam and three single vertical stimulation loops. The wooden crossbeam holds the swing straps securely in place with a single connection point in the middle, then attached to the vertical loops which offer bounce for users. The motion of bouncing can be adapted with increased or decreased bouncing motion by either adding extra loops or removing them, depending on the needs of the user.

The variety of motions the user is exposed to can depend on the number of loops on the swing. The centre point loop offers a rotational motion in addition to the bouncing, giving the user a twisting motion. The combination of these motion types provides an array of opportunities for the user to benefit from vestibular and proprioceptive input, assisting them to integrate the senses and self-regulate. The Frog Sensory Swing Chair can take a load of up to 70kg. Is great for smaller adults and kids with autism.

The Frog Swing is one of the most popular swings for clinical and home use for providing proprioceptive stimulation and vertical movement.
